Cancel/Change Order Policy

At Moderngirlwear, operated by AARON MICHAEL LEE LLC, we pride ourselves on our efficient order fulfillment process. Our logistics team begins working on your order almost immediately after it is placed to ensure we meet our 1–3 business day handling time.

Because we prioritize speed and efficiency to get your new wardrobe to you as quickly as possible, the window for canceling or modifying an order is very narrow. This policy outlines the specific procedures and timelines for requesting changes to your purchase.

1. The Cancellation Window

To maintain our commitment to fast shipping, orders enter our processing system shortly after they are confirmed.

  • Cancellation Deadline: You must request a cancellation within 2 hours of placing your order.
  • Method of Request: All cancellation requests must be sent via email to [email protected].
  • Required Information: Please include your Full Name and Order Number (e.g., #MGW1234) in the subject line to ensure our team can locate your order before it is dispatched to our warehouse.

Once an order has moved into the "Processing" or "Shipped" status, we are unable to cancel it. In such cases, you will need to wait for the package to arrive and then follow our 60-day Return Policy.

2. Modifying Your Order

We understand that mistakes happen—perhaps you selected the wrong size, a different color, or realized your shipping address needs a correction.

A. Changing Item Details (Size/Color)
If you need to change a size or color, please contact us within the 2-hour window. If the order has not yet been processed, we will manually update the items. However, if there is a price difference between the items, we may need to cancel the original order so you can place a new one with the correct specifications.

B. Changing Shipping Address
We can only modify a shipping address if the request is received before the shipping label is generated. If your package is already in the hands of USPS, UPS, or FedEx, we cannot redirect it. We recommend double-checking your address at checkout to prevent delivery failures.

4. Refunds for Canceled Orders

If your cancellation request is received and approved within the eligible window:

  • Refund Amount: You will receive a full refund, including the $6.99 shipping fee.
  • Refund Method: The credit will be applied to your original payment method.
  • Processing Time: Consistent with our Refund Policy, please allow up to 12 business days for the funds to be processed and reflected in your account, depending on your bank's policies.

5. Orders "In Transit"

If you decide you no longer want the items but the order has already been shipped (outside the cancellation window), please do not "Refuse Delivery" with the carrier. Packages marked as "Refused" or "Return to Sender" without a prior return authorization may be lost in the carrier's network or incur additional fees.

Instead, please:

  1. Accept the delivery.
  2. Contact [email protected] to initiate a formal return.
  3. Use our pre-paid label to return the items within our 60-day window for a full refund.

6. Technical Errors and Duplicate Orders

On rare occasions, a technical glitch may cause a duplicate order. If you notice you have received two order confirmations for the same items, please contact us immediately. We will investigate the transaction and cancel the duplicate order, ensuring you are only charged once.

Our team is dedicated to providing a high-quality service experience. We monitor our inbox during business hours to catch cancellation and modification requests as they arrive.

After-Hours Requests: If you place an order on a Friday evening and wish to cancel it, please send the email immediately. Although our office is closed on weekends, we process emails in the order they are received on Monday morning before warehouse fulfillment begins.
