2. Shipping Rates and Costs

We believe in straightforward pricing. Unlike other retailers that may hide shipping costs or increase them based on the size of your order, Moderngirlwear offers a consistent flat-rate shipping fee for all domestic orders.

Orders placed before 5:00 PM EST on a business day will begin processing that same day. Orders placed after 5:00 PM EST, or on weekends/holidays, will begin processing on the following business day.

If you place an order on Monday at 2:00 PM EST, your handling time begins Monday.
If you place an order on Friday at 7:00 PM EST, your handling time begins the following Monday.

4. Transit Times and Delivery Estimates

Once your order has been processed and picked up by our carrier (USPS, UPS, or FedEx), the transit time begins. Transit time refers to the duration the package is in the possession of the courier until it reaches your delivery address.

  • Shipment Notification: Once your order has been processed and a shipping label has been generated, you will receive a second email containing your Tracking Number.

Please allow 24–48 hours for the tracking information to update once the label has been created, as the carrier must scan the package into their system.

7. Shipping Destinations and Restrictions

  • Domestic Shipping: We ship to all 50 U.S. states.
  • P.O. Boxes & APO/FPO: We do ship to P.O. Boxes via USPS. However, for military addresses (APO/FPO/DPO), please note that transit times may be longer than the standard 2–6 day window due to military mail handling procedures.
  • International Shipping: At this time, we do not offer international shipping directly through our website. We are focused on perfecting our domestic logistics to ensure the highest level of service for our local customers.

8. Address Accuracy and Re-routing

The customer is responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address at the time of checkout. Please double-check your street number, apartment number (if applicable), and zip code.

Incorrect Addresses: If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, the customer may be responsible for additional shipping charges to resend the item.

Address Changes: If you realize you have entered the wrong address, please contact us at [email protected] immediately. If the order has not yet been processed, we will do our best to update the information. Once an order has been dispatched to the carrier, we are unable to change the delivery address.

9. Missing, Lost, or Stolen Packages

  • Marked as Delivered but Not Received: If your tracking information states that your package was delivered but you cannot find it, we recommend checking with neighbors, looking behind porch pillars, or contacting your local post office/carrier hub.

Cancellations: If you wish to cancel an order, you must contact us within 2 hours of placement. After this window, the order may have already entered the processing phase.

Modifications: We cannot add items to an existing order. If you need to change a size or color, please contact us immediately, and if the order has not been processed, we will attempt to make the change.

Every item sent out by Moderngirlwear undergoes a quality check. However, if your items arrive damaged due to transit issues, please follow these steps:

  1. Take a photo of the damaged packaging and the damaged item.

Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be queued for processing on the following Monday morning.

The carrier arrives at our partner fulfillment facility to collect the day's shipments. At this point, the package is scanned, and your tracking number becomes active.
